As a guardian, I cannot report my child's absence.
Absence reporting is done through the app Unikum Family, which is available for free download on Apple Store and Play Store. Click on Absence, select the child for whom you want to report the absence, and choose the date. If, for any reason, this doesn't work, please contact the staff at your child's preschool/after-school care. They can investigate the issue or reach out to the person responsible for Unikum in your municipality. You can read more about how to report absence here: Attendance Preschool- Report Absence
As a guardian, I cannot enter the schedule for my child.
An error message saying, "Schedule is not enabled for..." appears. This is likely because your school/municipality uses a different solution for displaying your child's schedule. Please get in touch with the staff at your child's preschool/after-school care for more information.
As a guardian, I cannot change my child's schedule for today.
Your child's preschool/after-school care has probably locked the ability to make changes to the schedule too near in time. Usually, you can make changes to your child's schedule no earlier than 14 days in the future. If you need to make changes before that, please contact the staff at your child's preschool/after-school care, and they can modify the schedule and/or add information about absence.
As a guardian, I accidentally reported my child's absence. How can I remove it?
It is not possible to undo/delete an already registered absence report. Please contact the staff at your child's preschool/after-school care; they can help you remove the accidentally reported absence.
Educator/Admin
As an educator/administrator, I cannot see the Attendance icon on my homepage.
The Attendance module is not activated. The administrator needs to access the Modules section for the preschool/after-school care and select the checkboxes under Attendance and Schedule. If these options are not available on the page, please contact the person responsible for Unikum in your municipality.
As an educator, I cannot see attendance for children in a group I am NOT connected to.
As an educator, you should be able to see and manage attendance for children even in groups you are not directly connected to. If you can't do so, it may be due to the group having the setting Group with hidden members. In this case, only the educators linked to the group can view and manage attendance for the children in that group.
As an educator, I do not see children under Absent reported; they appear in the regular list with absence times listed in red.
Guardians have reported "part of the day" absence instead of the whole day. In the app, guardians can either mark the whole day or specify specific times for absence reporting. If the child should be reported absent for the entire day, no specific times need to be filled in. Read more about how the guardians report absence here: Attendance Preschool- Report Absence
